Who i am

ABOUT ME

Being a dancer my whole life, I am passionate about movement and all the the amazing things it can do for the body & mind. I teach my clients how to listen to their body and move with intention to promote longevity and prevent injury while working towards their personal goals while feeling their best; physically and mentally. My goal as your trainer is to set you up for success long term by providing a well-rounded approach and giving you the tools you need to create habits, not quick fixes.


My mission is to build healthy relationships with movement and boost your confidence in and outside of the gym. I don’t believe that you should have to sacrifice life to reach your goals, which is why I will help you choose realistic targets and create a program that fits INTO your life so you’re not left feeling discouraged or having to cut out things you enjoy. That is not fulfilling or sustainable.


I hate the phrase “Never miss a Monday”. We are ALL imperfect and there will never be shame around that. The important thing is that you keep showing up for yourself, and I'll be there when you need a little push.

Strength & resistance Training

Get strong and sculpt your body by increasing muscle mass. I teach you perfect form and incorporate a variety of training techniques.

Functional Conditioning

Translates to activity beyond your workout. Focuses on overall function of the body using movements that target multiple joints/muscle groups at once.

Mobility training

Increasing overall flexibility and correcting imbalances or deficits in range of motion to help you move better AND feel better.

Corrective exercise

Focus on correcting imbalances and compensations, perfecting movement patterns, and correcting posture to prevent injury and pain.

Hybrid Training

Get the best of both worlds with a hybrid program that includes both weekly 1:1 sessions and written programming.


Programs are customizable but typically include 1 in person session and 2-3 written workouts per week.

This option will allow a more comprehensive assessment and better form correction/ demonstration from my end and more flexibility and independence from yours.

The Process


All training options start with a free consultation and assessment. This can be done in person or virtual depending on location. During this time we will get to know each other, talk about your current fitness level, long and short term goals, lifestyle, roadblocks, andwant to get out of training. If you are unsure about what type of training or how many days a week would be best for you, I can recommend options based on your goals and lifestyle. I will take your goals and my observations and help you set targets that are realistic and beneficial to your overall health and function.  


Next, we will complete movement and strength assessments which will give me a good picture of your starting level, as well as identify strength and/or mobility imbalances. Other measurements may be taken as indicated.


I use all of this information to build a program from scratch. Written programs can be expected a week after your initial consultation. Whether we are training in person or virtually, you can be confident that each exercise is thoughtfully chosen specifically for YOU.

During our training, I am here to motivate you, hold you accountable, explain what we are doing and why, and answer any questions that you have. You are able to contact me at any time with any need. I will check in with you regularly not only to make sure you are staying on track, but to ensure that your program is working for you. If something doesn't feel right or needs to be altered, modifications will be made for the following week of workouts.


I also offer additional services that can be added on to any program. Nutrition guidance includes calorie and macronutrient recommendations. Mobility programs include progressive mobility drills and stretches that can be integrated around your workouts to help correct mobility imbalances or reach flexibility-related goals.

There are literally so many good things to say about Alexis. As a trainer she challenges you, pushes you, and listens to your health wants and goals (as well and continuously asking for your feedback). 1:1 Training

Being brand new to weight training, I was very concerned that I would have improper form or end up lifting in a way that wasn’t beneficial for the results I wanted. I was extremely nervous to even go near the weights in a gym, and Alexis completely changed that. She made me feel super comfortable. There were so many takeaways that I had from working with Alexis! My favorite part about working with her would definitely be how she breaks down every workout and explains every aspect of it. Again coming into working out with her I was completely new to lifting, and she broke down all the basics and made me feel at ease the whole time. Alexis has a way of being very informative while remaining extremely positive and reassuring. She is absolutely incredible and I would recommend her to everyone and anyone!
